West Hill was pleased to welcome Melissa Peddle-Ezard and Dane Morgan Scott to share their insights and stories.
Melissa has been working with the homeless for 14 years and is now the programming supervisor at Family Residence shelter which includes ensuring that appropriate programs are available at the shelter for all age groups (babies to adults).
Dane Morgan Scott is an articulate young man who was planning to start his final year of University this fall. His education was suddenly disrupted in May 2013 when he and his mother found themselves without a home.
