the longest night

On this longest night of the year, we recognize the hardships and harm that people are experiencing around the globe, locally, in our own families, and in our personal lives. We gather in the hall and online, starting in moderate darkness to symbolize these realities. Candle by candle, we illunimate the darkness, and as the room brightens, we celebrate every person, known and unknown, who has given their time, resources, energy, and strength to bring goodness into those places of need.
