Affirming Anniversary - December 7 2025
On December 6, 2009 WHU celebrated becoming an Affirming Ministry.
In making a public, intentional and explicit (PIE) declaration, West Hill joined Affirm United to stand alongside and in solidarity with those who have been marginalized due to their sexual orientation and gender identity or those who advocate for them.
Once again, on the first Sunday in December, we recommit, challenge ourselves, and celebrate together!

Mel will speak about how they have navigated connecting to the world as a queer person and how searching for safe-places has been journey into discovering the difference between 'virtue signaling' and 'safety signaling'.
