Cancelled - Friday Evening "Play" for Grown-Ups

Unfortunately, we did not get enough responses in time to allow us to run our special "Play" Program. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our wonderful facilitator Cynthia Breadner for all her work and planning for this special West Hill workshop. If you were interested but couldn't make the timing fit, let us know and we'll see if we can reschedule.

In a world where aging appears to equal memory loss and aging is frowned upon, the art of play is lost.  This six-week program will bring play back into your life.  During this Friday evening program, we will explore the art of playing while utilizing meditation and self-discovery.

This program is designed to create, through meditative experience, an opportunity to awaken the senses.

In a world that is moving so quickly and, with technology taking over most daily actions, it is important to purposefully sit down and create space for thought and self-exploration. This introductory 6-week program is your opportunity to explore yourself, your thoughts and to how to settle your mind. By doing so you will soon see physical changes, such as a lowered heart rate, lower blood pressure and better sleeping abilities.
This program will include breathing techniques, relaxation tools and overall body awareness.

Dates:  Friday Evening Play Program 6:30 – 9 PM

Jan 5 and 19, Feb 2 and 16, Mar 2 and 16

Cost:  Small fee will be set to offset cost of supplies and materials.
